Dr. Hannah Gunson

Dr Hannah Gunson studied at Griffith University, completing a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science in 2009 and a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry in 2011.

She’s passionate about helping people feel relaxed in the chair and confident about their oral health, no matter where they’re starting from. Known for her calm and compassionate approach, Hannah makes sure her patients feel informed, supported, and comfortable throughout their dental journey.

She provides a range of general dental care, including preventative hygiene, restorative treatments, root canal therapy, prosthodontic solutions, and restoration of implants. Her clinical experience is supported by continuing education across many areas of dentistry, allowing her to provide well-rounded care tailored to each patient.

Hannah began her practice at Boulton Dental in 2025 and enjoys working in a supportive and organised environment alongside clinicians who are forward-thinking in their approach to treatment and technology, keeping pace with the rapidly evolving world of dentistry.

Her decision to pursue a career in dentistry was inspired by early positive experiences with a caring and kind dentist who helped her achieve a smile she could confidently show after growing up with rather unfortunate teeth. She values the hands-on nature of dentistry and the unique balance it offers between artistry and science.

Before Boulton Dental, Hannah cared for a loyal group of patients across the Hunter region—including Raymond Terrace—building strong, long-term relationships based on trust and open communication.

Outside the clinic, Hannah enjoys spending time at the beach, surfing, and golfing when she can, as well as making the most of time with her family.
